1. Who you are contracting with
This site is operated by BENNYENTP, E.I.R.L. (RNC 1-33-57915-4) ("Go Romana", "we", "us"), which provides the villa grocery pre-stocking service described here. The software platform is provided by GroList, a service of BMB Global Trading, LLC, which operates it on Go Romana's behalf.
By placing an order, checking the acknowledgment at checkout, or otherwise using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What the service is
You tell us which villa you are staying in, when you arrive, who is in your party, and what you would like. A personal shopper buys those items at a local supermarket and delivers them to your villa before or around your arrival, so you arrive to a stocked kitchen.
We are a shopping and delivery service. We do not manufacture, package or sell the groceries themselves — those are purchased on your behalf from a retail supermarket.
3. Eligibility and accurate information
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us — villa and unit number, arrival date and time, contact email and phone, party size, and any allergy or dietary notes. Incorrect details are the most common cause of a failed or delayed delivery, and we cannot refund groceries that were purchased against the information you provided.
4. Placing an order
Your order is a request, not a guarantee. It is confirmed once your pre-stocking fee is paid and we have assigned a shopper. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if the villa is outside our service area, the arrival window is too short to shop, the minimum order value is not met, or items are unavailable — and in that case we will refund any pre-stocking fee already paid.
A minimum order value may apply. It is shown to you before checkout.
5. Prices are estimates
Every grocery price shown in your list is an estimate based on the most recent price we have on record for that product at the supermarket. Supermarket prices change, promotions end, package sizes vary, and items sell out. The amount you finally pay is based on the actual store receipt.
Grocery prices are quoted in Dominican pesos (DOP/RD$). Any US dollar figure is a convenience conversion at an indicative rate on the day it is shown and is not a guaranteed exchange rate. Dominican ITBIS (sales tax) applies to taxable items at the rate charged by the store.
6. How payment works — two parts
Payment is split in two, and this is the part guests most often ask about:
- •Now, online: the pre-stocking fee shown at checkout. It is charged to your card in US dollars through Stripe by BMB Global Trading, LLC, which operates the GroList platform, and covers arranging, planning and coordinating your order. Because that company collects it, the charge appears on your card statement under GroList / BMB Global Trading, LLC rather than Go Romana — worth knowing before you query it with your bank.
- •On delivery, directly to your shopper: the actual grocery total from the store receipt, plus the shopper's service fee at the percentage shown to you before checkout (which differs for cash and card). Your shopper will show you the receipt.
Your shopper is an independent business engaged to shop and deliver for Go Romana — not an employee of Go Romana or of GroList. The grocery total and the shopper's fee are collected by that business for its own account, under its own tax registration, and neither Go Romana nor GroList receives or holds that money. Ask your shopper if you need an invoice for it.
7. Substitutions and availability
If an item is out of stock, your shopper may substitute a comparable product of similar quality, contact you to ask, or leave the item off entirely. You are only charged for what is actually purchased. If a substitution is not acceptable, tell your shopper at delivery and it can be removed.
8. Meal planning, ingredients and allergies
Where meal planning is offered, the shopping list for a meal is generated from a recipe using automated tools, including AI, and reviewed by our team. Quantities are estimates scaled to your party size and the number of nights; they are a starting point, not a nutritional or culinary guarantee.
Ingredient lists, product names and descriptions come from the supermarket's own catalogue and may be incomplete or out of date. If anyone in your party has a food allergy or intolerance, you must check the physical product labels on delivery and tell us in advance. We cannot guarantee that any product is free of any allergen, or that it has not been handled alongside allergens at the store.
9. Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages may be included where local law and store hours permit. Anyone receiving alcohol must be of legal drinking age in the Dominican Republic and may be asked for identification. Your shopper may refuse to deliver alcohol to anyone who appears to be underage or intoxicated, and legally restricted sale hours may prevent purchase.
10. Delivery and access to the villa
Delivery times are targets, not guarantees. Traffic, store stock, weather, and gated-community access procedures all affect timing. You are responsible for making sure the shopper can get into the property — through the villa's own staff, property manager, or community access — at the time you gave us.
If nobody can grant access and no arrangement was made, your shopper will attempt to contact you. Perishable and frozen items left without refrigeration are at your risk, and items that cannot be delivered may still have been purchased and payable.
11. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Contact us as early as possible to change or cancel. Before your shopper has started shopping, we will cancel the order and refund the pre-stocking fee. Once shopping has begun, the pre-stocking fee is non-refundable and you remain responsible for the items already purchased.
If we fail to deliver, or deliver items that are damaged, spoiled or wrong, tell us within 24 hours and we will make it right — a redelivery, a replacement, or a refund of the affected items, at our reasonable discretion.
12. Your responsibilities
- •Give accurate stay, contact and villa information, and keep your contact details reachable during your stay.
- •Inspect your delivery and raise problems with your shopper at handover where possible.
- •Settle the grocery total and shopper fee with the shopper at delivery by the method you selected.
- •Use the site lawfully: no attempts to disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to it, and no orders placed on someone else's behalf without their knowledge.
13. Communications
By placing an order you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, SMS or WhatsApp about that order — confirmations, shopper assignment, substitutions, delivery coordination and receipts. These are service messages, not marketing, and you cannot opt out of them while an order is active without cancelling the order.
14. Liability
We provide the shopping and delivery service with reasonable care and skill. We are not the manufacturer or retailer of the groceries, and we are not liable for product defects, recalls, mislabelling, or the quality of goods as sold by the supermarket, beyond replacing or refunding the affected items.
To the fullest extent permitted by Dominican law, our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the pre-stocking fee you paid for that order, plus the value of any affected items. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including spoiled plans, missed meals, or loss of enjoyment. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
15. Intellectual property
The site, its design, text, and the underlying platform are owned by BENNYENTP, E.I.R.L. and BMB Global Trading, LLC respectively, and are protected by copyright. Product names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You may use the site to plan and place your own order and for no other purpose.
16. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The version in force for your order is the one published when you place it. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, and the courts of the Dominican Republic have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
